The invention relates to a device for heating and cooling, especially for hot water central heating. The device is suitable for use in living rooms, where emphasis is placed on efficient and aesthetic heat and cooling sources.
State of the art
Heat sources, especially central heating elements, have been made of steel plates which are peripherally welded. Their disadvantage is low efficiency and large dimensions, respectively, which are required to transfer an additional amount of heat. Heat sources made of cast iron are also known, but these are heavy and inefficient.
The object of the invention
The above-mentioned drawbacks have been largely eliminated by heating and cooling devices, especially for hot water central heating, according to the present invention, which is the fact that it consists of at least one heat exchanger provided with a housing. Here, the heat exchanger consists of at least one row of tubes located at an angle α to the horizontal which does not exceed 65 °. Each row of tubes consists of at least two tubes with an aerodynamic profile, formed at least in principle as a rectangle or in principle as an oval, where the longer axis length in a cross-section is at least twice the length of the shorter axis b. The distance h between at least some of the pipes does not exceed 13 mm. The heat exchanger is terminated on at least one side with collection spaces in which at least some of the pipes discharge, and which are provided with supply pipes and / or discharge pipes.
The object of the invention is also that the heat exchanger is made of material containing copper. Furthermore, it is essential that the heat exchanger be made of material containing aluminum. It is also essential that at least a portion of a metal bellows is located between some of the rows of tubes. It is also essential that the supply pipes and / or discharge pipes are provided with a control element. Furthermore, it is essential that at least one electric fan is mounted above and / or below the heat exchanger. Finally, it is essential that the electric fan be equipped with a speed control unit.
Explanation of certain definitions used in this technical solution:
Heating and cooling device, ......... is such a device that transfers heat from the space in which the device is located or it brings heat into that area. Heat transfer is achieved using a liquid passing through this device.
The tubes with aerodynamic profile, formed at least in principle as a rectangle or in principle as an oval, where the longer axis length in a cross-section is at least twice the length of the shorter axis .......... ....... are such pipes where their cross section is in a preferred form from an aerodynamic point of view as air flows towards the pipe and there is an effort to reduce the aerodynamic resistance to air flow. The ideal solution is an aerodynamic drop shaped cross section of the pipe. However, an oval shape that is easier to manufacture in which the longer axis length in a cross section is at least twice greater than the length of the shorter axis in the cross section is also recognized. In principle, a rectangular cross-section of the tube is also allowed, but it should only be such a rectangle where the length of its longer axis is at least twice the length of its shorter axis.
Metal bellows ........ is a metallic, thermally conductive element with a large surface which touches the pipes and thus transmits heat flowing in the pipes to its surface which is substantially larger than the surface of the pipes. This ensures a better heat transfer from the fluid flowing in the pipes to the air.
Brief description of the drawings
Figure 1 shows schematically a heat exchanger having a collection space on each side to which the pipes discharge. Supply pipes and discharge pipes with a control element are connected to the collection chamber. The heat exchanger is fitted with pipes located at an angle α to 40 ° horizontally.
Figure 2 shows schematically a heat exchanger with a series of four pipes provided with supply pipes and discharge pipes where the pipes are located at an angle α to 0 ° horizontally. A fan with control element also appears.
Figure 3 shows a cross section of the aerodynamic profile tube formed by an oval, the longer axis length of a cross section being at least two times greater than the length of its shorter axis b.
Figure 4 is a cross-section of a heat exchanger with four rows of pipes, each row also consisting of four pipes. The figure shows the distance h between the pipes. Two parts of the metal bellows are located between some of the rows of pipes.
Figure 5 schematically shows a heat exchanger provided with a housing.
Examples of implementing the invention
It was decided to implement hot water central heating with gas boiler with a power of 40 kW and five central heating elements, each with a power of approx. 12 kW, in a house. It is necessary to provide individual compartments with small but powerful central heating elements that can transfer the performance of a boiler to the individual compartments. For the implementation of each of the five central heating elements, a heat exchanger 1, consisting of four rows of pipes 3, is placed at an angle α to horizontal = 35 °. The length of each tube 3 is 720 mm. Each row of tubes 3 consists of eight tubes 3 with an aerodynamic profile formed by a rectangle with rounded corners. The length of the longer axis of the tube 3 is 20 mm and the length of the shorter axis of the tube 3 is 8 mm.
The distance h between the bottom row of tube 3 and the row of tube 3 located above is 10 mm. The distance h between the other rows of pipe 3 is h = 22 mm. All materials used are made of brass. The heat exchanger 1_ is terminated on both sides with a collection space 4 in which the individual pipes 3 discharge. A metal bellows 6 is inserted between the second and third rows of pipes 3. The collection chamber 4 is provided with a supply pipe 5 and discharge pipe 5. All pipes 5 are made of copper. The discharge pipe 5 is provided with a control element 7. Two axial electric fans 8, each provided with a regulator 9, are mounted under the heat exchanger L Such an exchanger is provided with a housing 2 having an aesthetic design.
Industrial application
The invention can be used in the implementation of the hot water central heating systems. However, it is also suitable for use in refrigeration units.
